INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF “SOCIETY OF AESTHETIC MEDICINE SPECIALISTS” MOSCOW, RUSSIA, 2006
The scientific conference dedicated to the actual problems of alopecia and therapeutic and surgical methods of treatment was held in the Institute of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetology in Moscow on November 27, 2006. The Society of Aesthetic Medicine Specialists of Russia (ОСЭМ) was the organizer of the conference. Aleksiy Makhrashvili presented a very interesting report to the conference: “Optimizing Time Intervals of Hair Transplantation Stages Based on Morphological Changes of the Follicles.”
The research of tender structural changes in follicles growing areas on different stages of hair transplantation was done on an electronic microscope. The analysis of this research results enabled to increase the transplanted hair viability up to 100%.
